Introduction

Our family has been continuously developing its vineyards since 1990. The proportions of the varieties are 60% Furmint, 25% Hárslevelű, 10% Yellow Muscat and Kövérszőlő (Fat Grape) and Zengő. We also have older, 40-50-year-old grape wines, but we are also making efforts to bring new and older areas into cultivation. We planted yellow muscat in 2010 first, then in the spring of 2016 we increased the area of the estate by another 2.4 hectares, mostly with furmint in the vineyard named Pogány-kút (Pogány well). Thus, we already cultivate our grapes in six vineyards covering an area of 20 ha.

At the beginning of 2019 we thought we shall renew our appearance. The 2019 vintage is given the new design. We were looking for a younger, more modern form, which is easy to remember and cannot be confused with any other thing. In the new image, we work with three categories. The products of the basic series (POP) are fresh, fragrant, "crunchy" wines made by using reductive technology. The wines of the second category (ROCK) are selected after ripening in wooden barrels and given barrel-aged notes, but with being cautious to preserve their varietal character. The top category (CLASSIC) includes Tokaji wine specialties such as Szamorodni (dry, sweet) and Tokaji Aszú. We make these items only in special vintages, paying attention to the careful selection of the finest ingredients.
